Bespoke Kitchens Milton Keynes is a locally focused kitchen design, cabinetry and installation business built around a straightforward idea: the kitchen should be designed for the room and the people using it, not around the restrictions of a catalogue.
Founder Daniel Mercer started his working life as a cabinetmaking apprentice, learning to measure carefully, understand timber and build fitted furniture that had to work with real walls rather than ideal drawings. He later moved into wider residential renovation work around Milton Keynes and Buckinghamshire, where kitchens became an increasing part of his day-to-day projects.
Daniel kept seeing the same compromises. A wall would be a few centimetres wrong for a standard cabinet run, so a large filler would be added. A household would need better pantry storage but end up with generic cupboards. An island would be chosen from a fixed range even when the proportions did not really suit the room. In 2014, he decided to concentrate on kitchens using the same made-to-measure thinking he had learned through cabinetmaking.
Bespoke Kitchens Milton Keynes grew through projects in Milton Keynes and surrounding Buckinghamshire communities. Daniel was later joined by designer Sophie Bennett and installer Mark Ellison. Their combined approach remains intentionally practical: understand how the home is used, resolve the layout, make cabinetry to suit the agreed space and pay attention when it is fitted. The team is small enough for those conversations to stay connected from one stage to the next.
